Brady and Kaylee’s wedding ceremony was supposed to be outside at her parents’ home. But the wind had other ideas. When it became clear the weather wouldn’t cooperate, they pivoted and moved the ceremony indoors and luckily they had the space to do it.
And honestly? It was perfect.
An intimate ceremony at home
Their ceremony was small and personal, with a guest list made up of their closest people. Hosting it at Kaylee’s parents’ home made everything feel comfortable and grounded from the start.
There’s something about home weddings that changes the energy. People relax. The couple relaxes. Nothing feels overly formal or staged. Their vows were incredibly sweet — the kind that make the room go quiet in the best way (in between all the sniffles). You could feel how much intention they put into their words and into the commitment they were making.
As a wedding videographer, those are the moments you can’t manufacture. You just document them as they happen.
A couple who knows how to have fun
Brady and Kaylee were genuinely fun to film. They weren’t shy around the camera at all. In fact, they leaned into it. There were multiple moments throughout the day where they’d give a little extra personality for the lens. It never felt forced — just two people fully themselves and enjoying the day. That comfort translates so well on film. When couples stop worrying about “looking right” and just exist together, the footage feels alive.
A reception full of energy
While the ceremony was intimate, the reception opened up to a larger group of friends and family. The shift in size brought a big shift in energy — in the best way.
And the dance floor? Packed.
Dancing was a huge priority for them and it showed. From the first songs to the later-in-the-night tracks, people stayed on the floor. Their DJ kept the momentum going all night and guests fully showed up ready to celebrate.
A day that reflected them
What stood out most about Brady and Kaylee’s wedding was how true it felt to who they are.
They rolled with the weather.
They kept the ceremony meaningful and small.
They made space for fun and celebration.
Nothing about the day felt performative. It felt lived-in and real — the kind of wedding that’s remembered for how it felt, not just how it looked. Those are the weddings that age well on film. The ones where personality leads and perfection takes a back seat.
And for Brady and Kaylee, that balance made for a wedding day that was heartfelt, lively and completely their own.
